Jubilee University Hosts First Staff Visit From Accrediting Agency
On Thursday, Feb. 3, Jubilee University welcomed Dr. Shane Wood from the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) to conduct a preliminary staff visit.
The visit consisted of a full day schedule where Dr. Wood, who is Associate Director on the ABHE’s Commission on Accreditation, interviewed staff, faculty, and trustees, and also had a chance to meet with students and donors.
During the conferences, Jubilee also had the opportunity to present its goals and vision as well as present arguments for how it fulfills the accrediting agency’s 25 conditions of eligibility, and how it plans to meet the Association’s eleven standards of accreditation if the institution’s application is approved.
Following the visit, the institution received an all-around good report, with clear action steps of what needs to be remedied and what areas can be improved. Jubilee is expected to submit its application for accreditation later this year.
