Master of Church Music Program - Online

The Master of Church Music (M.C.M.) is a two-year graduate degree program designed to equip musicians and worship leaders with advanced academic and practical training grounded in Scripture. The program integrates theological depth, historical understanding, and musical proficiency to prepare students for effective ministry leadership in diverse worship settings. Through rigorous coursework and applied study, students develop the skills to analyze, design, and lead biblically sound, theologically informed, and culturally relevant worship.

  • Worship Studies – A study of the biblical and theological foundations of Christian worship, exploring how worship is formed, expressed, and practiced throughout Scripture and church history.
  • The Hymn in Christian Worship – A survey of the development of hymnody as a theological and musical expression of faith from early Christianity to the modern era.
  • Choral Conducting and Score Reading – Study of conducting techniques and score interpretation for effective leadership of vocal ensembles.
