Jubilee University welcomed the University’s Chancellor Dr. Smoak to be honored in a beautiful dedication ceremony where our flagship library was named in his honor on September 18, 2021. Dr. Smoak also presented a special gift to the library in the form of an early edition of The Missouri Harmony, making an invaluable addition to the collection of books he had donated previously.

A. Merril Smoak, Jr. Library (ASML) serves as the foundation of academic support for all learning and research pursuits of JU students, faculty, and staff. It features 30,000 physical and electronic items for Biblical higher education and research. 

ASML offers students wide-ranging reference services, as well as a place to study and to participate in group discussions. 

The library has a rich collection of online information resources to support students’ academic research, including thousands of e-journals and hundreds of article databases.
